Hi,
I will be in Paris on Sunday April 10th, which happens to be the day of Paris Marathon. How big an event is this? Is the city affected at all? Crowds of people on the street and life disrupted or I will not even notice it? I am staying near Arc de Triomphe.

Besides a few bus routes changing you shouldn%26#39;t notice it.

Thanks ptegan, looks like it is nothing to stress about :)

Hello
The race is on April 6Th.
There will be about 35.000 runners, that is a lot of people... it starts from the Champs Élysées and ends at Avenue Foch both not far from Arc du Triomphe, so I would think there will be roads blocked and way more people than normally. I recently run the 1/2 marathon (about 20.000 runners) around Bois de Vincennes and there were several thounsands watching.
