where is le printemps?

my daughter and i will be in paris by this weekend!!

i have read that le prinemps is a good place to take a teenage daughter that is interested in paris shopping. where can i find these stores?

The Printemps stores are at 64, Boulevard Haussmann. Note that there are separate buildings for womens fashion, mens fashion and beauty/interior. The buildings are interconnected, but only on a few floors.

The main store of Galeries Lafayette is almost nextdoor, at 40, Boulevard Haussman - certainly worth a visit too! They also have a separate building (Lafayette Maison) for housewares, furniture, kitchenware, etc., on the other side of the street.

An earlier post also suggested that you visit the roof top restaurant. I checked it out on the website - it looks pretty neat and since it is self serve, it might be affordable for a mother-daughter outing. Enjoy your visit!!

from what i learned on this website, the zip code means that printemps is in the 9th arrondissment?

Correct. The last two digits indicate the arrondisement.

Regarding the restaurants, the cupola in the self-serve restaurant is beautiful.

/Le Printemps/ is about to come at last. There have been encouraging signs today, were Paris a quaint countryside town, crocuses would be blooming.
