Best English movies about/in Paris?

What are the best English language movies about Paris? Or French with subtitles?

|||

There have been threads on this same topic before, but here are my picks:

Paris Je%26#39;taime (English and French)

Amelie (French w/ subtitles)

The Valet (French w/ subtitles)

Before Sunset (English)

Angel-A (French w/ subtitles)

There%26#39;s more, but I%26#39;m totally blanking right now.

|||

And then there%26#39;s director Wim Wenders%26#39; %26quot;Paris, Texas%26quot; with Harry Dean Stanton.

:-)

Ry Cooder%26#39;s soundtrack is a killer.

Charade..how can it get any better with Cary Grant Audrey Hepburn and Givencey clothes?

I don%26#39;t know about %26#39;..best..%26#39; but I just came across a new release at the video store entitled:

%26#39;..CATACOMBS..%26#39;-- http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0449471/

The description--%26quot;.. Below the city of lights exists a world of darkness....On her first trip to Paris, a young woman hits a party in the Catacombs, the 200-mile labyrinth of limestone...%26quot;

One might expect that no body part will go un-dissected.

This film was evidently shot in part on location, down in the Catacombes de Paris. The blurb on the jacket mentioned that it was from the same team who%26#39;ve brought us the perfectly cheery %26#39;..SAW..%26#39; series of chop %26#39;em, slash %26#39;em, grind %26#39;em up light entertainment for viewers at all stages of mental un-balance. I suppose if you%26#39;re a fan of the Catacombes de Paris...fine cutlery...and do-it-yourself autopsy...this film might be worth a scream or two.

I loved Paris J%26#39;taime, so quirky and different.

|||

Before Sunset and After Sunset (just turn off the sappy dialogue, and watch them walk through Paris for almost the entire movie).

|||

I really enjoyed two days in Paris.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0841044/

|||

Ratatouille- just don%26#39;t believe that tables are that far apart in any Paris restaurant.

I thought Before Sunrise takes place in Vienna, Austria? Julie Delpy is returning to Paris... Haven%26#39;t see the sequel yet.

2 Days in Paris is great. Her favorite thing is the Catacombs and they are closed. Sounds very familiar..

Le Diner de Cons is a funny movie, almost painfully funny like Curb your Enthuasism.

Thanks for the great information.

Here%26#39;s another one that features Paris toward the end and has a gorgeous Frenchman in it, Broken English.

Flashby, Before Sunrise is indeed set in Vienna, but Before Sunset is the sequel where Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy reunite in Paris.
