Hi,
Me and my boyfriend will be visiting Paris in September-probably the beginning.
I have looked through guide books and websites but I am just really confused about where to stay.
We are not too fused about staying close to all the tourist attractions, but more important to us is being close, within walking distance, to the night life. We both like alternative/rock/indie music so close to these sort of bars and clubs. (Suggestions would also be appreciated) Our budget is max of £80.00 per room per night. Also, if possible not too far from the Garde de Nord train station as will be travelling on Eurostar, but if we have to we can get a bus/taxi.
Any ideas, help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I think the 11th would work well for you. I really dont like the area around gare du Nord too much nor do I like that metro stop in the late hours but that is just me.

You will want to stay in the 5th or 6th arrondissements (easy métro connections to Gare de Nord).

I don%26#39;t know what that is in Euros but here are my recommendations under 100€:

The following hotels (in the 7th0 have rooms starting at 110€ and are worth considering:

There are excellent hotels in good locations but not as convenient to the nightlife of the 5th and 6th.

September is a very busy month for hotel operators in Paris so you cannot reserve too early.
