Hi
I will be in Paris with my 15 year old daughter, for 5 days during April. We arrive on a Friday morning and leave again on a Wed evening.
With so many things to do in Paris, should we bother with Disneyland and Versailles?
From what I understand, both of these takes a whole day out of your time, which means I will only be left with 4 days for the rest of Paris!
Thanks

Excuse me, but I find it hard to believe you could lump these two attractions together like that!!
Versailles is most certainly worth it, most 15 yr old girls are into the whole Marie Amtionette thing, plus in our school system the children learn about the French revolution in school when 14, so it is educational also. My 14 yr old son liked Versailles very much, and he is not a scholar by any means, he actually really enjoyed the grounds and renting a bike ( in the garden) and the fountain show.
We also went to Disneyland , we bought a two day pass since it was only 2 euros more then a one day pass. My son decided he did not want to return the next day,, it is a bit babyish for teens, all the Mickey Mouse stuff is great for the younger kids, but teens find Disney pretty tame, you can do most of the wild rides in one afternoon. I vote strongly against Disney , since your visit is so short ( ours was 3 weeks) , but if you daughter is even mildly interested then I would consider Versailles, if weather is good( not so fun in rain) .
Ask your daughters opinion,, I really got my child onboard with trip planning, and making him do a little research,,it made the trip funner for him, and he even discovered one site I could have definately skipped( claustrophobia) but it was a fasinating visit,, The Catacombs of Paris.. look that one up, perhaps a girl would not be so interested in that. I am going to Paris this July with my 12 yr old daughter and she wants to go there, but only because her brothers have both been.

I have heard from many people that Disneyland is not worth the visit. As for Versailles, we just returned from our visit there. My very intelligent 17 year old son hated it, and my 15 year old daughter loved it. I found it to be okay. I enjoyed many other sites in Paris more. If you are pressed for time I would stick with all of the wonderful sites within Paris.
If you do go to Versailles buy your ticket ahead of time. The lines to buy tickets on site very horrible. Over 1 hour long.

Thanks, that is the kind of advise I was looking for!
Disneyland will be at the bottom of my list of things to do!
I%26#39;m all packed and ready to go... London first then Paris!
