I will be travelling through Gare St. Lazare about mid-morning on a Wednesday. I cannot find any information about what types of cafes/eateries might be available while I wait for my train.
Is there a website that would have this information listed? Is there someplace at the station for some sort of snack? croissants? coffee? pastry?
Thank you.

Right out the main door and down the steps, across the street to the left is a cafe. And if you%26#39;re really desperate, a tiny McDonald%26#39;s.
Inside Gare St. Lazare there are sandwich stands selling baguette sandwhiches. I didn%26#39;t try any of those. I walked across the street to buy a sandwich there.

There are several self-serve, quick-food chain places--Pain à la Ligne--within Gare Saint Lazare. and patisserie. For station locations and hours--

These is the %26#39;sort%26#39; of place you%26#39;ll find--this international, food service group also operates Autogrill and Brioche Dorée concessions at other SNCF stations in Paris as well as Pizza Hut, Burger King, Sbarro franchises at airports, train stations, shopping malls, etc. in other cities around Europe--so don%26#39;t expect much----

For any other neighborhood options outside of the station, you will be hampered somewhat by baggage. There is NO %26#39;..CONSIGNES..%26#39;(Left Luggage) facility at Gare Saint Lazare to store your luggage temporarily...so what what ya%26#39; got, goes everywhere ya%26#39; go.
There is a regular on this forum--la photographe--who is extremely well acquainted with this immediate neighborhood and might drop-in to offer some good alternate suggestions??

I%26#39;ve always been surprised at the edibility of food in Railroad stations throughout Europe. It may not be imaginative, and it may not be the best its city has to offer, but it will be fresh, and will keep body and soul together without making you suffer greatly with indigestion, as a rule.

Thanks to all who replied for your useful information and comments.
I will have my luggage with me and I am not sure exactly how much time there will be for me to catch my train.
While not expecting haute cuisine at the station, I just want to survive the trip and the food without risking offense to my tummy or my taste buds.
Thanks again to everyone.

Well....that%26#39;s not exactly so...the poor ants will have to run their little legs off to keep up.

There%26#39;s a nice little cafe directly across the street from the entrance of the station. I believe it is called the %26quot;Marco Polo%26quot;. Be forewarned, it has one of those Turkish toilets - LOL!
