Can I easily find a sim card at CDG? Which one should I buy that will work in both Paris and Brussels? How much are they and do they come pre-loaded with minutes?
Can it send/receive text messages to/from USA? How much for each text message? Are incoming calls free?

Try the FonQuest store in Terminal 2 %26quot;Espace Services%26quot; at CDG:

Here is a list of providers for France:

One would think you could use these sims outside of France (Brussels for instance).

If you buy a France SIM, then use it in Belgium, the rates will be higher b/c you%26#39;re roaming outside of France.
If you type %26quot;SIM%26quot; and %26quot;cell%26quot; into the forum search, there will be a thread mentioning an online site that sells a %26#39;Europe SIM%26#39; for a minimal price, then you pay the per-minute charges (not cheap, but ok if you keep your calls brief). It was something like Roamcell, Cellroam or such.

it was another forum... here is the site:

You might try Cellular Abroad, located in California. I have rented phones and bought SIM cards for France there. http://www.cellularabroad.com/

Remember to have an unlocked tri or quad-band phone. If yours is a locked USA phone, ATT will take several days to unlock your phone so don%26#39;t wait until the last minute.

I have AT %26amp; T service here in the US. With this service, I have international service. I did not pay more for it nor do I do anything to activate when I travel abroad. When I am in Paris or Brussels or Rome or London or the Turks and Caicos or nearly anywhere else, I simply dial 001-then the US phone number. I also readily receive calls.
On our recent trip to Paris, one of the other women in our group called Verizon and received an international phone. It provided excellent service.
Before you look for a Sim card in Paris, please call your provider to find out the level of service they offer. It may be cheaper and offer fewer hassles. Moms
