Anyone had experience with holidayrentals.co.uk?

This company has what looks like lots of good deals. Not many reviews of their properties on their website. (wonder why!) but what reviews they have are good AND bad so they are not afraid to post critical reviews.

I%26#39;m looking to rent an apartment in the 10th or 11th in July and they seem to have lots of properties in this area at reasonable rents.

Just wondering if anyone else has used them and what was yoour experience.

I%26#39;ve rented out my apartment in the Alps through holidayrentals.co.uk (yes, now part of the HomeAway group) for several years.

The point is that the company has no control whatsoever over the private house/apartment owners who advertise through them. They are one of the more expensive sites for a private owner to advertise on, so I guess this means that most will be serious/trustworthy.

Once you choose somewhere (or various places) you like, you deal directly with the owner and its up to you to check out whether you think they are trustworthy and that the place is as described. Email lots and maybe speak to them if you have any doubts.

I have also rented out a place somewhere in Italy that I found through them and the owners were delightful. Just realize that you are mainly dealing with private, non-professional owners (though in Paris that might be different, perhaps).

Yes i have rented from them last year, in Cannes .I found them very helpfull, and i recommend them. no problems . As the previous person said , make sure you comunicate as much as possible and all will be good

have a great vacation in Paris, its a great city.. be carefull of pickpockets specially in monmartre just be vigilant and you%26#39;ll have a great time,
