Buddha Bar? Any other trendy lounge/restaurants?

Hi everyone!

My husband and I are in our early 30%26#39;s and we are planning to be in Paris during the first week of May and we%26#39;re also staying in the 7th district as well.

This will be our first time in Paris and wanted to know any recommended spots for nightlife? We%26#39;re looking for trendy lounges or trendy hip restaurants/cafes in Paris.

Any recs would be great!

Thank you so much as always~

Off the top of my head:

Kong

The Hotel Costes bar

The restaurant %26quot;Dans le Noir%26quot; (if you don%26#39;t mind eating in total darkness)

The one problem I have with a lot of these places is that the service can be enormously pretentious and unwelcoming.

I think you might enjoy Kong! It is a nice restaurant and filled to the brim with people--especially couples--your age. It is on the second floor of a modern office building. Don%26#39;t let that fool you. The Paris 30%26#39;s crowd definitely knows how to find it!

I third Kong. In fact, my avatar pic was taken at Kong. I am holding one of their menus up to my face.

buddha bar is pretty fun - make dinner reservations for midnight on a saturday night. the food is good, not great. it%26#39;s also a fun place to go for lunch, if you want a more laid back experience.

Hello,

You can also try the Palace bars ( Georges V, Le Meurice etc... ). It is not so expensive and the service is excellent. You can brunch in Hotel Crillon on sunday, for around 70 EUR it%26#39;s an unforgettable moment. Buddha Bar is a good place too... le Georges in Pompidou center with its view of Paris.
