Advice re cost of taxi

Unfortinately I am on crutches so we have decided to take the bus from the airport to L%26#39;Opera and then get a taxi to our final destination, an apartment in

Saint Germain Des Pres (Rue de Grenelle).

How much do you think we should expect to pay in Euros? I speak reasonable French so I can haggle with the driver if necessary - but I don%26#39;t want to be ripped off.

Cheers!

To reach rue de Grenelle by taxi from an airport bus station I recommend you take the Air France bus, line 4, to Montparnasse (14€). That should be a lot closer than Opéra.

You may want to consider the simplicity of an airport shuttle:

The collective ride shuttle is less than 38€ (for 2 people) airport to hotel/apartment and may be cheaper than a bus/cab combination. Even if it%26#39;s roughly the same price, you%26#39;ll save carrying your luggage from bus to taxi.

A taxi from the airport to your apartment should cost about 45€ - 55€.

Thanks - I%26#39;ve booked the Paris shuttle on-line. It will save a lot of hard work and I always think that the airport - hotel transfer is the worst part of any holiday! Thanks for you help.
