Enough to do at St Cyprien??

Hi all,

I am planning a couple of weeks in a private apartment I have found in St Cyprien, PO. I%26#39;m looking for something quiet and near the beach where I can just relax, take in some sun and walk my dog. I also have my car with me so hopefully will be able to get around. Before I take the plunge to book can anyone help me out with:

What%26#39;s the beach like? weather in May/June? restaurants? etc.

Thanks so much,

The beach is sandy. The resort itself is not very picturesque.

The weather in May and June is usually nice (but unpredictable). In May the water will still be cold.

There is an excellent (and expensive) restaurant called L%26#39;Almandin, plus a number of other nice and cheaper places especially around the harbor.

You can visit the new Museum of Contemporary Art and the Collection Desnoyers (until June 15 - exhibition of African art) at St Cyprien Village (3 km from the beach. Don%26#39;t miss the botanical garden at Les Capellans.
