Hi all,
I%26#39;ll be in Paris in July, and I would like to visit these two churches on the same day. Should I do Saint Chapelle first or Notre Dame? I%26#39;m gonna have an early start, but can%26#39;t decide which one to do first, to avoid long queues?

Hi;
If your plan is to see the interior of notre Dame then no matter what the line is like you won%26#39;t have much of a wait.
The line for Notre Dame moves pretty much at a slow walking pace so even if the line stretches to the crypt in the square you%26#39;ve only about a 15 minute wait...
The towers are another story. the wait there can easily be an hour.
Sainte Chapelle on the other hand can be a 30 minute wait to get through the security line, then you line up again for tickets.
So I%26#39;d take a look at the line at Sainte Chapelle and if it appears that a large crowd is waiting, go see the interior of Notre Dame and the views from the park around back...
Then prepare for some wait to Sainte Chapelle...
But both are easily doable in three hours...

Hi!
I agree with that. Try Sainte Chapelle first. The line moves really slow. Everyone has to stand in line, because it%26#39;s a security line. However if you want to beat the ticket line, buy a museum pass.
We had a long line at the Notre Dame, but it moved really fast! We were inside in about 10 minutes. We skipped the towers, because the line was too long.
Enjoy!

Another way to see Ste Chapelle without the long wait - and assuming you light classical music - is to go to an early evening concert. They start about 18:30 and last for a little over an hour, so you%26#39;ve then got plenty of time to have dinner.
You still have to go through security, but the law courts are closed by that time and there is a limit of about 300 seats per concert.
Search for [Les] Archets [de Paris], who are one of the groups that perform regularly for more posts and details.

The quick way is that the queue for St Chap is also the the queue for the Ministry de Justice, BUT it is the same when you get through the x-ray machine. Because the Min queue is a %26quot;working%26quot; queue its much quicker, so stick with that one. Also, as others have said the museum pass is fab!

The Towers are open in the evening( not every night though) and many people do not know that,, the man minding the line at the Towers told me to come back around 8( the line was soooo long) , he then pointed to the sign which clearly states the towers were open some evenings( I can%26#39;t remember till when, may be someone going soon could look at it for us and let us know) .
