Apartment Review: #185 Vacation in Paris

We stayed in this apartment which is in the rue Cler neighborhood for four nights, April 24, 25, 26 and 27.

It is located on a passage way and is very quiet. There is no elevator and it is on the 3rd floor. We were two grandmothers and two grandchildren, aged 7 and 8. It was a nice size for Paris but would feel quite tight for two adult couples or two adults and two teens that require a lot of bathroom time.

Dealing with Vacation in Paris was easy. They are well organized and provided excellent directions as well as information on the neighborhood.

The apartment was immaculate. The sofa bed was a bit of a puzzle to make up. Both beds were very comfortable. There was good light from two sides of the building. One end table in the living room expanded into a dining room table. The furniture is quite new and in good shape. No antiques which makes it a good location for children. The ambiance is %26#39;Pottery Barn.%26#39;

The kitchen had plates and silver for six. There was a frying pan and a sauce pan. There was a two burner stove and a microwave as well as a coffee pot. There is only a small counter space so gourmet chefs would not be happy here. We bought a roast chicken for nearly $20 (US) and made it go for three meals. We ate out at lunch.

We liked the apartment very much and will probably rent it again in the future. We definitely liked dealing with Vacation in Paris.

Thank you for your thoughtful post. We are considering renting an apartment in December, and will definitely consider that one.
