We will be arriving early morning at 6:10am Avignon Centre (from Arles) and we will need to go to Avignon TGV (for tgv to Lyon). I know that there is a shuttle that leaves from Avignon Centre to TGV at 6;38 am. If we should miss this shuttle for some reason are there plenty of of %26quot;Taxis outside of Avignon Centre%26quot; at this early hour?

Generally speaking there are always taxis at the ready, but that is pretty early. I have actually been there and needed a taxi when all were either occupied or somewhere else. If you want to tuck this number away (seen on web link), you can call either prior to arrival at Centre Ville (if you have a cell phone) or immediately upon arrival.

If you are lucky, there is a 6:12 shuttle. 28 minutes should be sufficient time to connect to the 6:38 shuttle. If you miss the 6:38 and the departure time of your next train allows the following shuttle is at 7:16.
The shuttle now costs 2.50€ (it might be already included in your ticket price) and takes about 13 minutes.

I think I will then schedule a taxi for even that short ride. I do not want to miss our train from Avignon TGV (leaving at 7:45), since I have premium tickets for 4 to go to Lyon then Strasbourg ...do not want to have to pay again, since the premiums are non-refundable %26amp; non-exhangeable. Some of us do not walk as fast...
I will contact that taxi website you provided.
