foot passenger

Hi

we are thinking of going as a foot passenger to calais and wondered if any one could give us advice or directions on where to go in calais we are going as foot passengers as my mother is scared of driving abroad we would ideally like to get to the hypermarkets or similar

There is a bus that takes you from the port into town and drops you at the railway station, think it%26#39;s a quid each. From there you are in the heart of Calais and if you turn left or right you%26#39;ll have all of the shops on the High Street.

If you turn right and head for the theatre you%26#39;ll arrive at the cross roads known as the Quatre Boulevards, where there is a new shopping mall, on the opposite corner is the theatre and behind there is the bus terminus where you can catch a bus out to the cite Europe the large shopping centre on the outskirts of town
