Deep Discounted Price on Evening Segway Tour With Viator.com

I was checking prices for the segway tours because many posters have said that reserving through Fat Tire Bike Tours is cheaper than through Viator. Well it is 70E through Fat Tire Bike Tours. Through viator.com it is $105.88 for the daytime tour and $42.35 for the evening lights illumination tour. They are both 4-5 hours. I don%26#39;t know if the $42.35 price is a typo or it is deeply discounted right now. If you check it out, it has received as many stars as it can receive from reviewers and people say glowing things about it. I did it in Sept %26#39;07 and it is such a blast. I loved the night time tour because I saw the city lights, including the twinkling Tour Eiffel. I paid around $80 in Sept. I recommend checking out this sale. I%26#39;ve never seen it anywhere near this inexpensive before and I don%26#39;t know how long it will last. It is guaranteed to be a fantastic evening!

Hi In Love With Paris,

I booked the evening tour with viator about six weeks ago and paid €28 each (which is about $42) I couldn%26#39;t believe how cheap the evening price was compared with the day time tour. I don%26#39;t think it is a typo, as that was the price charged to my card, I will be in Paris in two weeks time so I will let you know how I get on. However some of the evenings were dearer than others, I am doing it on a Thursday, but the Friday was more expensive. It does say it is 4-5 hours long, brilliant value for top class entertainment!

Which sites do you stop by on the segway?

Ouiparis: the sites listed as being seen are:

Eiffel Tower

Napoleon%26#39;s Tomb

The Louvre Museum

The Arc de Triomphe

Ecole Militaire

The Rodin Museum

Les Invalides

Place de la Concorde

The Orsay Museum

Assemble Nationale

La Madeleine

I just can%26#39;t believe what a deal this is. $42.35 (not even euros!) for 4-5 hours. And it is so much fun. This is so cheap couples can go even if you are watching your money. Families can take their kids. I don%26#39;t know how young you can be and still ride on one of these but I recently read that someone took their 12 year old. I went by myself and just joined with some other singles and a group of 3 scotish gentlemen in the 30%26#39;s. We all had a blast (I am 58 years old.)

Wizard - those comments seemed random. Did I miss something that was posted here? I know people on this forum seem concerned about what they wear, but what does that have to do with anything that has been posted on this thread?

In Love - thanks for this great hint. My husband and I will be doing this on June 1.

Thanks as well. DH and I would definitely be interested in this. What a great way to enjoy the city without pounding the pavement! That%26#39;s just my North American enthusiasm, I suppose : )

|||

No - my comment, since removed, is that anyone with such low esteem they would be seen on a segway need not worry what they wear.

Mind you - if you WANT to look like a poor fool tourist, this is the perfect way.

I don%26#39;t see what self-esteem or how you dress has to do with this post.

Riding a segway is something unique that most people have never done before. It is really fun. And you are moving around seeing beautiful Paris either during the daylight or at night in the glorious Paris night!

Another nice thing about doing the tour at night is that you can walk around all day and tire yourself out and still have enough energy at night to do this because you aren%26#39;t doing any walking. And the 4-5 hours goes unbelievably fast. It seems like a long time but, because it is so much fun, the time goes very fast. Enjoy!

Wiz: What are you talking about? Segway tours are offered in many cities around the world, some by the same company as the company in Paris. I took the tour with my son and it was by far the highlight of his trip. I thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Neither of us have low self-esteem, quite the contrary, if a person feels self-conscious on a Segway, perhaps that person%26#39;s self-esteem is a bit too low. We received many waves and smiles from Parisians and other tourists alike as we cruised around town.

Segway offers a unique way to see a fabulous city. It is just pure fun. Moms

Still confused Wiz. How can you possibly connect my self-esteem (which, by the way, is very good) with my desire to see Paris from a differrent perspective? Maybe it%26#39;s your self-esteem that is really at issue here.
