Affordable Romantic Accommodation - 24th May - 1 Night

Booked a Surprise trip for my Girlfriend on the Eurostar - leaving Saturday 24th and coming back the next day. Looking for something special, accommodation-wise. I%26#39;m not loaded, so I%26#39;m looking for something that%26#39;s got character and quaint that won%26#39;t break the bank. I would also like to be close to the Metro if poss.

I know that the profs here at TripAdvisor are brilliant at recommending good quality establishments - so I%26#39;ve come straight here first.

I think you need to tell us your budget and if you want to be in a particular area.

That%26#39;s a difficult one - 80 euros to 150 euros - somewhere in that ballpark.

I did think the Hotel Jeanne D%26#39;Arc but it%26#39;s full on the 24th May. Sadly your budget is on the lower side of things for Paris.

Have you tried searching through old posts here? Put in %26#39;budget, central, quaint%26#39; and see what has come up in the past.

THe Esmeralda near Notre Dame sounds quirky and is cheap. Not stayed there myself so can%26#39;t comment personally but it sounds like an %26#39;experience%26#39;. Have fun. x

Agree with Lesapink - Esmarelda is an experience, but fun, cheap and great spot. It may be full so ring them now!

We have booked the Jardins d%26#39;Eiffel hotel for 155 euros per night (incl breakfast) in July.. read some nice reviews..someone had suggested it on TA.

hope it turns out to be good when we go!
