train or bus from narbonne to barcelona?

we need to turn in our rental car in Narbonne first week in May, and get to Barcelona for our last night and flight home. anyone used the trains or buses?

I recommend the train. The options vary from 3+30 to just under 6 hours en route.

There are only two direct trains a day Narbonne - Barcelona at these times

822am arrives 1146am

557pm arrives 945pm

I shall be doing the same journey myself in a few weeks.

There are also local French and Spanish trains Narbonne - Port Bou and Port Bou - Barcelona but these are very irregular on the French side and generally don%26#39;t meet up a the border station of Port Bou. Some very long waits can be involved.

One-way fare on the direct trains is about €50.
