Orsay on a Sunday

I plan on visiting the Musee d%26#39;Orsay on a Sunday at the end of May. Any suggestions on when it may be a shorter wait to get in, morning or afternoon? Thanks.

Hi;

The Orsay draws immense crowds whenever it is open.

I%26#39;ve found that Sunday mornings at the Orsay can be very crowded, but if I wait until 1:30-2pm lines can be non existant with many folks heading to lunch.

It really helps having a museum pass or an advance ticket since you then can enter the group entrance. Fewer groups on Sundays.

I have a Carte Blanche annual ticket for the Orsay and it saves loads of time.

Hi

i agree with craigmore, we went two sundays ago, in the morning, queues were long, about 45/60 mins wait. When we came out at lunchtime the quese had halved.

Also, the pass would be quicker, if you have one make sure you go to the entrance marked groups, it is on the right hand side as you look at the museum.
