We are flying from CDG to Barcelona on a Saturday 6:00pm Air France flight. Could anyone advise me on the time we need to be at the airport? I see that 3hrs ahead is considered advisable for flights out of Europe, but do we need that much time? Hate to waste our last day in Paris at the airport.

Check the AF web site or give them a call.
The problem with not being at the airport early enough is that the airline sets a minimum lead time, and if you haven%26#39;t checked in on time, they can, and often will, give your seat to a stand by.

The cut off for check in for this flight is 35 or 40 minutes. You%26#39;ll be fine getting there 1.5 to 2 hours before, and is coming from someone who is always way too early.
