Help! Paris to Positano. Go through Rome or Naples?

We are travelling from Paris to Positano on June 20-21st to get to my sister%26#39;s wedding. My sister is flying into Naples and has a car arranged to get us into Positano from there. The problem is that I can%26#39;t find a flight from Paris to Naples. I tried to book a train but you can%26#39;t do it over the internet and it%26#39;s a 19+ hour trip. Should we train or fly into Rome and then train to Naples instead? Help! Thanks!!!

There might be flights by Air France or Alitalia, but there are certainly a couple of low cost carriers on the route - try Easyjet from Orly http://www.easyjet.com/en/book/index.asp or Meridiana from CDG http://www.meridiana.it/IG/pages/home_en.aspx

Make sure you check their terms and conditions, especially baggage, so that you don%26#39;t get any nasty surcharges when you check in.

Sorry, I wasn%26#39;t clear - those are flights into Naples.

We are flying Air France into Naples May 1, then after touring around there, we are flying Air France back to Paris. Our round trip flight is booked JFK-Paris_Naples_paris-JFK. You can call Air France, they are extemely helpful.

Easyjet does Paris-Naples. I Flew Naples-Paris two years ago. Good airline, and cheap.

If you can%26#39;t find a seat, you can always train Rome-Naples, it is 2 hours if i recall well.

The coast is great, don%26#39;t miss a visit to Naples, and to Pompei

Thanks for all the ideas! I checked airfare and it looks like we%26#39;ll be flying. The problem is that we have a night now with no apartment/hotel. Should we stay a night in Naples or somewhere around there? Any suggestions?

I stayed in a youth hostel near the port, so i don%26#39;t think that would be the type opf accomodation you are looking for, but i can definitely recommend to stay in Naples, i loved it. Some may find it dirty, i found it great. Especially, don%26#39;t miss Pompei
