Area around Blvd Richard Lenoir?

We are looking at staying at Citadines Paris Bastille Marais. Is this a safe area at night?

yes it is safe and an easy walk to place Bastille and not far from the Marais. The one downside is that the street is busy. I would get a room on an upper floor away from the street.

Hi --

I keep posting this -

Paris is one of the safest cities in the world. I have been traveling there without my husband for more than a dozen years, staying in various areas in the city - I think 7 or 8 different arrondisements - and I have never had a problem, or felt unsafe. I have been out at all hours of the day and night on the bus, the Metro, the RER and on foot, and have yet to have any sort of worry.

Stay wherever is most interesting to you. Safety will not be an issue.

Yes it%26#39;s fine, I have stayed at another hotel on the same street. There%26#39;s a very good street market there too - as you will have a kitchenette of some description at the Citadines you should check that out :o) Yummy!

And I can only concur that Paris is as safe as any other major city - just use the same common sense you use at home.
