What is a good French to English translation website?
Do you know if there is vocal website that I can heard the correct pronunciation?

I%26#39;m not sure this qualifies as %26quot;good%26quot;, but for just a word or two, I often use the free translator at http://www.freetranslation.com/. Be warned, though, that this is little more than a dictionary-style look up and is very literal with no idioms.
Good luck!

I%26#39;ve used several, all with pronunciation, but my favorite is Travlang.com. Go to foreign languages for travelers and pick from 105 languages. I have used it for trips to Hungary, South Africa, and Bali. For specifically French, I also used www.bbc.co.uk/languages/french and learnfrenchinboston.com. Explore around the Boston site and in the free material there is a segment where all of the famous sites, gardens, museums, boulevards, and regions of the city are pronounced. Practice them and you will sound like a local. I was asked directions by a French woman from outside the city and I was actually able to direct her in French to la Musee d%26#39;Orsay from the La Tour Eiffel. My Kansas accent was a dead giveaway and she was as surprised as I was. Hope these sites will help. A little French goes a long ways in getting around Paris with a smile from the locals.

The pronunciation one is good but often hard to mimic (at least for me).

I guess everybody already knows to be very careful using these online translation sites. Though quite helpful they can be, they can also produce some hilarious translations.

A useful tip with any automatic translator is to re-translate it back and forth a couple of times and see whether it still says what you expect. There is a nice story of someone dealing with an engineering website, trying to translate %26#39;hydraulic ram%26#39; and finding he%26#39;d actually said %26#39;oily sheep%26#39;.

Precisely. I wish I could remember some of the really funny ones I%26#39;ve pulled up. It helps to have a basic knowledge of a language in order to use the translation sites; kinda like a back up system. If you don%26#39;t speak the language at all, be very very careful.
