Cost of meals in Uzes area and Paris

We have booked apartments in (a) village near Uzes and (b) Paris for the first two weeks of October and are now having second thoughts because of the state of the US dollar. Can anyone tell me the approximate range of a good (not fancy) meal in a bistro or restaurant in the Uzes area and in Paris - including a glass of wine and the service? Thank you.

I feel like most meals we ate that were lunch time, not super fancy were aprox. 15 euros each person- which for a couple w/ the current exchange rate works out to almost $50 for lunch! Yikes!

But the area was fabulous, and we weren%26#39;t trying for inexpensive picnic type things. In Uzes we ate at Terroir, right on the Place du Herbes- very popular, reservations needed for lunch on market day, and another lunch at maybe Renaissance, also on the same square. We enjoyed both, but there are other options.

If you are in an apartment, you will be able to eat some of your meals at home, which will be a great opportunity to stock up at market day or at the shops for great bread, cheese, olives, and spreads. We did this a quite a few times.

If you like pottery be sure to check out the small potter%26#39;s village St Quentien la Poterie, just about 10 min. north of Uzes, sorry for my poor spelling, but the shops and potters were fabulous. Just don%26#39;t go on the closed day, when only about a quarter of the shops will be open.

Thank you!

Sure, and if you have any other questions, please ask- you can send me a message if you want. I am certainly no expert on the area, but we were based for a week-plus a little north of Uzes and went to a bunch of cute towns- lots of driving around but we saw so much fun stuff, and I would be happy to share some info about where we went during our trip.
