Triple Rooms/Hotels inSt. Germain des Pres & Latin Quarter?

Has anyone stayed in a 3 star hotel in the 5th or 6th Arr. that has a room for a couple and then an extra bed for another adult? My husband and I are going to Paris with our son--trying to save a little money by sharing a room since the Euro/dollar ratio is not good. We don%26#39;t want just a roll away either.

Maybe there%26#39;s a hotel on the Isle where Notre Dame is located? Thanks in advance for any suggestions/advice.

I know the Hotel Mugent is not in the 5th or 6th, but the reveies are so good, and the picture of the triples shows the third bed in a seperate alcove which is really nice, and price is right. Only downfall is I don%26#39;t think Hotel Mugent has a/c which I require in summer. If going off summer then I would look into it. It is hard to find a triple that is not just a roll away cot shoved into a double size room. Hubby and his friend and our son were literally on top of each other at one hotel.

Of course, is money is no object.....

Well, I suppose money is always an issue. LOL Do you have any other suggestions? I looked at the Muguent Hotel website but the location seems a bit too far away from where I wanted to stay.

I cannot recommend first hand - as I have not stayed yet (but we have it booked for May). I know hotel d%26#39;aubusson has rooms that can fit 3 comfortably. I believe several in that area can fit 3 - D%26#39;Aubusson was recommended by a family member, but before I chose it, I looked at several in that area (we actually have a family of 5, so I was looking at a double and a triple option and found quite a few.

Thank you very much. I have looked at many websites for the Hotel D%26#39;Aubusson. The hotel%26#39;s location is fabulous and I love everything about it except the price. However, I%26#39;m looking into it concerning package deals etc. I have stayed in this area previously and it is fabulous. I love the hotel%26#39;s courtyard, lounge, and other amenities.

I have also contacted the Hotel Henry IV Rive Gauche because they have a room where 3 can stay; however, they are booked and don%26#39;t have a waiting list.

Thanks for the reply. If you hear of any other %26quot;triple%26quot; rooms in the 5th or 6th, I would appreciate your input.

I would recommend doing a hotel search on expedia.com by plugging in your dates, selecting three stars or more from the dropdown menu for hotel class, and then inputting the number of travelers. You can also narrow your search by selecting %26quot;Latin Quarter%26quot; as a neighborhood. I did a dummy search for September with your specs and came up with Les Grand Hotel Des Gobelins, Hotel California St. Germaine, Hotel Renoir Saint Germain, and many others. Good luck!

Hiya

This hotel is nice, I%26#39;ve stayed here, good location, not far from Notre Dame if that%26#39;s the area that you want and it has triples

I also stay at the Timhotels, some of these are in the 5th/6th - and some of the hotels do triples, have a look at the website

The Timhotel at Place d%26#39;Italie definitely has triples but might be too far out for you ?

Good luck with the search. x

Thanks for all of the replies. My husband and I have opted for a room by ourselves and our son will have his own room. We have been recommended to stay at the Hotel Agora. However, the Hotel D%26#39;Aubusson looks wonderful but a little pricey.
