Terminal 2E Shuttle?

A previous post mentioned after check-in with Air France he took a shuttle to the terminal for security clearance to his gate. Can somebody explain about this shuttle??? Have always checked in and then walked to the security line.

Has this got something to do with Terminal 2E being closed, and has it recently been opened?

Thanks

Since it reopened, is the shuttle still necessary for arrivals and departures? Both our incoming and outgoing flight are at 2E.

annamikemc I cannot say if it is necessary to take the shuttle or not. The flow of passengers was directed to the shuttle/tram both when I arrived and departed.

Hope this helps.
