we will be driving in from the west ( brignoles ) and the rental place states they also have a drop off at prommenade des anglais. between the airport and promenade which one will be easier and more convenient to reach. thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!

If you%26#39;re dropping the car off to fly out then the airport obviously but if you%26#39;re staying in Nice then definitely the Prom. I imagine it will be one of the car hire co%26#39;s alongside Le Meridien.

The drop off beside the Meridien is much easier. Coming from the west, just turn left immediately beside the hotel, McDonalds is on the corner, and you will see the car rental places. You can stop outside, technically illegal but perfectly normal, and go in to the appropriate office.
I often see people driving slowly around the airport trying to find the place to drop the car. The bus I was on hit one one day after the car driver made a sudden lane change.
Of course, if you are dropping the car in order to fly out, it would be crazy to drop off at the promenade.

The car hire companies are just off the Prom and alongside Le Meridien hotel. If you care to give me a specific address for the Prom drop off I will confirm that it%26#39;s the same.

The Meridien rental places are the ones described as Promenade. They are in a row just after the front door of the hotel when you turn off the prom.

There is a rank directly opposite the rental offices. I suspect that for five people and luggage you will need tow cabs.

Yes it is. And if you want a cab to VSM then they will be lined up just across the road from the drop off point.
