day trips from Marriott Village near Disney

HI

WHile staying at the Marriott Village d%26#39;Ille-de-France, I would like to make some day trips, (other than into Paris!)

ANy suggistions on what to do, AND wether to just drive , take train, or any tours form Disney hotels?

I was thinking of a trip to NOrmandy, not sure what else is in the area. Thanks for any help

I recommend going to Versailles. The castle itself is quite amazing and the gardens are absolutely exquisite. My husband and I drove from the Marriott, but I do remember that traffic was absolutley awful aroudn rush hour in the Paris area. Try not to leave or return during that time, or avoid the Paris area all together if possible.

Hi ,

when you go into Disney from the Marriott....there is a big octagonal kiosk before the entrance to the Disney Village and they have a total service for arranging any trip you may need...whether you self drive or not...there are the regular Paris ones but lots of local sights to take in as well. I am sure they can help you.
