Advice about Montorgueil needed. Still searching!

Back to the drawing board!

As there was not much reponse to my first shortlist of apartments I am now thinking of staying in Montorgueil area.

Any recommendations for studios or one bed apartments? advice? streets to aim for? streets to aviod?

Budget 634euros,(990$ £500)

Could you clarify your budget - is it 634 Euros for 7 nights?

Centreparis.com has apartments in the montorguiel area within your budget. No streets to avoid - it%26#39;s a great place to stay near. I%26#39;m going back for my fourth trip - staying in the 2nd again...

Thanks ebabe and vecolivia, yes I have looked on slowtrav and the one you posted the link to is not available for my dates, sorry should have been more specific.

DATES either 14th OR 21st July for 7 nights.

We are also going in October and staying in the 6th so we want something cheap an cheerful NOT in 5th 6th or 7th.

My head is in a spin I%26#39;ve looked at so may websights!

Husband is begining to regret sugesting this as I%26#39;ve hardly spoken to hom for 4 days as I%26#39;m consantly in the computer!!!!

Grndma, check parisholidayapts.com and click on booking to check availability. He has a one-bedroom Montorgueil apartment (Rue Monmartre) and it has some July dates, maybe not your exact ones, but you could inquire. We have the Louvre 2-bedroom for June.

We stayed in the Louvre Loft. We rented it through vacationinparis.com. I really like this area. We did not care for Rue St. Denis (at the south end) and the exit from Les Halles metro was frequented by teenagers on skateboards. We rarely used that metro station though.
