Hello!
I am after your opinion / advice / or confirmation on my Paris Itinerary for 5 full days in Paris. I%26#39;m from Australia, staying in Paris for 6 nights 7 days, mainly to be able to spend some time with my Uncle. After Paris I will be going to Greece for 5 weeks. My uncle lives in Les Vans (south France) which I beleive is near Nimes. I%26#39;ve decided to stay in Paris as I understand the train can %26#39;take me almost anywhere in 3 hours%26#39;.
Do you know anything about Les Vans?
What will the weather be like?
Can I leave it until I%26#39;m there to organise train tickets. (I don%26#39;t speak much French but train website so far seem difficult)
Are the French really as stubborn to help %26#39;tourists%26#39; as everyone says?
Day 1 (night) Arive Paris from Rome on 31st August at about 10pm staying at Hotel 7 Art for 3 nights. 4th district.
Day 2 Explore Paris, (get over jetlag!) Celebrate Anniversary since meeting my husband:)
Perhaps a canal trip for an intimate view of the city, I%26#39;m looking at Paris Canal%26#39;s Le Canotier a 2 1/2 hour cruise through Paris off the beaten track which deposits us in the city%26#39;s heart near Musee d%26#39;Orsay OR I was thinking a river excursion through Paris country side from the bassin Port de L%26#39;Arsenal with Canauxrama%26#39;s Alliance cruise to the stretches of the Marne which inspired artists like Cezanne and Pissarro and pitstops for 2 hours in Bry-sur-Marne for lunch before taking us back.
Day 3 Early train to Nimes or Les Vans if possible -Visit Uncle in Les Vans
Day 4 Early train - Meet Uncle somewhere...still working this out, perhaps Nimes or Marseille?? Late train back to Paris, check into B%26amp;B in Montmartre 18th District for 3 nights

Day 5 Explore more of Paris / Montmartre,
Day 6 Paris Disneyland? not sure if this is my thing but no disneyland in Australia...! or perhaps Versailles? suggestions?
Day 7 Fly to Athens
All suggestions welcome!:)
