Avignon to London One Way train Ticket

I want to travel by train from Avignon to London in early July on a one way ticket.

So far, I found that I can book the eurostar part of the journey (from either Lille or Paris) to London for GBP44. This is bookable 90 days in advance using eurostar.com

For the France train journey, tickets can only be booked 2 months in advance. I found some cheap Avignon - Paris tickets (25 Euros), but Avignon - Lille is around 80 Euros on www.tgv-europe.com.

I%26#39;d prefer to go via Lille, but if I%26#39;m saving 60 euros, I%26#39;ll have a day in Paris.

Is my reasoning correct? Will there be cheaper fares to Lille? Or any cheaper way of doing it?

you can supposedly book ticket Avignon - London direct for saturdays from 12 July, but it isnt working at the moment http://www.raileurope.co.uk/

Otherwise it%26#39;s 90 days before date of travel you can book. It%26#39;s usually cheaper to go via Paris because the difference in price between lille-london and Paris - London isnt the great

But if you do change in Paris rather than Lille you also have to change stations.

For the journey from Avignon to Paris / Lille, I thought it was only up to 2 months in advance, but today (April 1), I can book July 1? So for certain routes is it 3 months in advance booking?

90 days, so just under 3 months. Unless one of those months in February of a leap year, in which case the computer cant work out whats the allowable date is......

Thanks - I%26#39;ll try and get the cheap Prem fares tomorrow then!
